I'm Alexandra Eisman, the creative force behind Eisman Home. I believe great design is more than aesthetics—it’s personal. My approach begins with understanding what truly matters to you, so the spaces we create thoughtfully reflect the people who live in them. Whether it’s a bedroom that welcomes you to rest at the end of a long day or a dream kitchen built to host holidays, entertain friends, and support your daily routines—every detail (and I’m obsessed with the details!) is considered to leave you with a home that not only looks beautiful, but lives beautifully too.

Rooted in a style that’s collected, intentional, and anything but ordinary, I guide clients through a seamless design process from early inspiration to the final styling day. The result is a home that feels fresh yet familiar, supports how you live, and sets the stage for the life you’ve always imagined.

The Eisman Home Approach

Before founding Eisman Home, I built a career across several creative industries in roles that continue to influence how I approach interiors today. In commercial event production, I collaborated with high-profile clients and creative teams to develop immersive brand experiences and large-scale events that required creativity, precision, and thoughtful logistics. Later, in marketing, I contributed to campaigns shaped by understanding what people want, how they think, and how they respond emotionally—perspectives that continue to guide how I design and consider the experiences people seek to have in their own homes.

I earned my master’s degree in communications from Drexel University, where I expanded my creative foundation through graphic design coursework. During that time, I worked in the university’s Fashion Design Department, my first real exposure to how textiles and personal style can influence storytelling.

Following grad school and my previous roles, I moved into interiors, expanding my technical background through additional coursework and hands-on project experience. The varied design influences throughout my career continue to shape my approach today, with intention, empathy, and an obsession with carefully curated details that help transform my clients’ spaces into the homes they’ve been dreaming of.

My Diverse Design Background

My love for interiors started young—constantly reinventing my childhood bedroom, rearranging furniture, and begging my mom for trips to the paint store. A big part of that creative spark came from time spent with my grandmother (famously known in South Jersey as “The Applehead Doll Lady”), playing around her antique shop on the farm and watching her restore forgotten pieces into treasures. That art of transformation enchanted me as a child, and it's still at the heart of everything I do today.

When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband, our two energetic collie mixes, and our extended crew of family and friends. Since 2016, I’ve served on the board of a food pantry in Maine that my father founded, helping provide groceries to meal-insecure families. I’m also a lifelong animal lover and spent several years fostering dogs through a local rescue with my husband. And for a final fun fact: I used to sing in a cover band, and performed musical theatre up until college.

The joy is in the journey, as they say. ✨
